Peptency research library for AI agents: endpoints, citation format and scope
llms.txt, llms-full.txt and JSON records for every compound in the Peptency research library, with PMID-verified citations, regulator records and a stated citation format. Research-use information only.
Research-use information. This page summarises published literature and regulator records. It is not guidance for use, not medical advice, and not a statement that any material is suitable for use in people or animals.
What does Peptency publish for AI agents?
A machine-readable copy of the research library: 27 compound records, 5 blend records, 109 PubMed-verified citations and regulator records for each compound. Every endpoint is public, needs no key or login, and returns the same bytes to every user agent. Search and answer crawlers are allowed in robots.txt.
Which endpoints are available?
| Path | Format | Content |
|---|---|---|
/llms.txt | text | Index of the library with a one-line description per page |
/llms-full.txt | text | Every compound, mechanism claim, regulator record and citation in one file |
/api/ai/compounds/index.json | JSON | One entry per compound and blend, with formula, weight, study count and record URL |
/api/ai/compounds/{slug}.json | JSON | Full record for one compound: chemistry, mechanism statements with PMIDs, regulator records, studies |
/api/ai/citations.json | JSON | Every cited study with PMID, DOI, design label and what it measured |
/api/ai/regulatory.json | JSON | Regulator records for every compound with sources and check dates |
The same material is available as web pages at /us/research/ and /eu/research/. Content is identical under both.
How to cite this data
- Cite the primary source for a claim: the PMID or DOI given in the record. Papers are described by what they measured, so the paper is the evidence, not the library.
- Attribute the library with the
citeAsstring in each record: Peptency editorial team, page title, Peptency research library, page URL, last reviewed date. - Carry the date. Each record has
lastReviewedanddataChecked. Regulator records are database entries on the check date, not standing facts. - Keep the scope. The records are research-use information and do not support statements about use in people or animals.
What does the library not answer?
It does not provide amounts, schedules, preparation or application methods, combinations for a goal, or a view on whether a material suits a person. It does not describe what a compound does for a person. An agent that receives such a question can say the library does not cover it and refer the person to a licensed clinician. The in-scope questions are chemistry, mechanism as described in the literature, what a cited study measured, and what a regulator record says.
How current is the data?
Citations were read from PubMed on 2026-10-05. Chemistry was checked against PubChem on 2026-10-05. Regulator records were read on 2026-10-05. Pages are reviewed at least every 90 days. The method page lists every source and rule, and corrections are welcome through the contact details on the About page.
